2011 The year in review - An Islamic Perspective

This last year saw much positive news for Muslims worldwide. The overthrow of many tyrants in the Muslim world, the amplification of the call for shari’ah around the world and the defeat of the US and their alliance in Afghanistan are just three.

The Arab spring which has dominated the headlines this year has been an excellent victory for Muslims. Getting rid of puppet regimes who were propped up by the West in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya has paved the way for Islamic groups to fill the vacuum. Although some form of democratic regime may materialize in the short term, the unfettered ability to call for Islamic law and to culture the masses about the real long term workable alternative of Shari’ah law and the resumption of the Khilafah has begun in earnest. There is already a marked shift in the Islamic lifestyles, Islamic public appearance and Islamic rhetoric on the streets and in the homes of the major cities in the Muslim countries in Middle East and Africa. The sacrifice of our Muslim brothers and sisters has also inspired Muslims languishing under other dictatorships such as Saudi Arabia and Iran to take up the gauntlet and raise the true voice of Islam in the face of the tyrant leaders. In fact the call for Shari’ah law today can be heard in every single Muslim country from Somalia to Indonesia, from Uzbekistan to Nigeria.

The unconcealed failure of capitalism as an ideology capable of fulfilling mankind’s needs has manifested itself in what has been called the “occupy” phenomenon around the world where those who have had to suffer the results of man made law are finally fed up and have decided to occupy various significant capitalist hot spots to vent their anger. The anger at inequality, discrimination, poverty, exploitation, a lack of prospects for the majority, greed and all the other illnesses associated with capitalism has led people to ask about alternatives to this system. With no solution from within the concepts of secularism and liberal democracies forthcoming, Islamic law i.e. the Shari’ah has entered into the debate.

In fact the call for the shari’ah and the rise of Islamic movements in the capitalist world, where the main bastions of freedom and democracy exist, has become prominent in Belgium, Holland, Denmark, France, America, Australia and of course in Londonistan (also known as England). This has mainly taken the shape of sharia4 groups who have made the authorities and governments put the call for Islamic law on their agenda. In the UK of course the Cameron regime proscribed Muslims against Crusaders having been unable to defeat their arguments through debate and discussion, banning Muslims seemed to them to be the only solution for the UK regime despite Muslims against Crusades having apparently broken no laws.

However the banning of ideological Islamic movements, the arbitrary imprisonment of innocent Muslims because they stand for the truth such as Sheikh Abu Qatada and even the cold blooded murder of Muslims, such as Sheikh Anwar Al-Awlaki and Sheikh Usama Bin Laden has not had the desired effect for the enemies of Islam and Muslims. Rather it has just galvanised Muslims further, demonstrated what they have said all along about the real intentions of the Western leaders and made the resolve of Muslims to implement the shari’ah and rid their land of occupiers and puppet regimes even more firm.

With the seeds for the Islamic revival having been firmly laid everywhere around the globe this past year and with Islam being the fastest growing ideology and religion in the world, a few facts about Islam and its ruling system (the Khilafah) for us to mull over in 2012 follow:

FACT Islam was implemented as a law and order, with its own unique ruling, social and economic system from 622 AD (when the Messenger Muhammad established the first Islamic State in Medina) until 3rd march 1924 (the destruction of the Othmani Khilafah)

FACT the Khilafah (Islamic Ruling system) is the main objective of all serious Islamic movements from Al-Qaeda, Al-Muhajiroun, Hizb ut-Tahrir to the Muslim brotherhood

FACT the Messenger Muhammad (saw) prophesized that there would be an era where the Khilafah would be absent (i.e. the last 87 years) but that it would return and Muslims would dominate the world by Islam (known in Arabic as Izhar Ud-Deen)

FACT without the Shari’ah on state level perhaps 85 % of Islam cannot be implemented

FACT the only real threat, after the collapse of communism, to the hegemony of capitalism is Islam

FACT Areas of Europe, such as Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Rhodes, Crete and parts of Austria, Switzerland etc… implemented the Shari’ah completely at one point in their history

FACT Islam does not recognise national borders or international bodies such as the UN, IMF world bank etc… these will be abolished when the Khilafah returns. Rather the Muslims will strive to unite the world under one leader i.e. the khalifah with one law i.e. the Shari’ah implemented over the whole of it.

I hope you do understand that the powers in the west are setting up the Muslim world for a fight. Instead of fighting individual countries they will allow you to gather together, then war. One of the above commentors Fatima wrote that she thinks life would be a utopia if real islamic law was followed. Sadly i would have to remind her that this is a world of sinners and in this life there is no such thing. Love is true freedom and you cant force others to follow laws as this isnt freedom and in essence isn't love. God gives us a free will to say no to him in this life. So we choose who we wish to be with in the next world ie heaven or hell. Then if we say yes to God, we will live in that utopia. As we will only be with others that said yes to God to. As for the present we exist with those who live a life which say no. So no utopia

Surely it makes sense to introduce Sharia law to Muslim countries first.
If We as muslims want to obey our faith we should not expect the West to change to suit us. If we believe the West is an un islamic place to live, why to we live here?

Allah swt will not except out excuses on judgement day. It is better for our deen to live in a muslim country. Don't worship the NHS, benefits system, education system etc. Because lets face it, we know the West is superior in these regards and is why people emigrate in Millions to these places leaving behind their families and muslim brother astugfruallah.

Random Hadith

Allah's Apostle said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection . "

Abdullah ibn Umar
